CITY GUIDE · CHANGSHA
Five international-brand hotels in Changsha, from the central business district to the Meixi Lake area.
Changsha's international-brand hotels cluster in two places. Park Hyatt, St. Regis, W and JW Marriott are in the central city, where the business and shopping districts are, and Park Hyatt is a short walk from Wuyi Square. Meixi Lake Hotel is in the Meixi Lake zone in Yuelu District, a newer lakeside area next to a shopping mall and the Meixi Lake International Culture & Arts Center. We would choose the central hotels for a first visit and shorter stays, and Meixi Lake if you want a calmer setting.
Reference rates: nightly, 2 adults in one room, before tax, across four dates a year; from about US$138 a night.
