CITY GUIDE · DENPASAR
Three beachfront resorts on Bali's south coast: two in Sanur on the calmer eastern shore and one in Seminyak on the west.
The three resorts in this guide sit on two different stretches of Bali's south coast. The Meru Sanur and Andaz Bali are both in Sanur, a seaside village on the south-east coast with a beach and a quieter pace. The Oberoi is on Seminyak Beach to the west, about 9 km from the airport by the hotel's own count. Sanur suits travelers who want a relaxed base, while Seminyak puts you closer to the west-coast beach scene.
Reference rates: nightly, 2 adults in one room, before tax, across four dates a year; from about US$215 a night.
