These resorts spread across four areas. Cap Cana, a gated enclave, holds Eden Roc, Sanctuary, Secrets Cap Cana and The St. Regis, and is close to the Punta Espada golf course. Uvero Alto, on the quieter northeast coast, has Dreams Onyx, Secrets Tides and Zoetry Agua, and is a longer drive from the airport. Puntacana Resort & Club · near Punta Cana International Airport
The Westin is in the Playa Blanca area of the 15,000-acre Puntacana Resort & Club, about five minutes from the airport. The resort has its own white-sand beach, 45 holes of golf including La Cana Golf Club, and a Six Senses Spa at La Cana Golf & Beach Club. Dining includes Brassa Grill, Playa Blanca and a cigar bar. A good fit for golfers and travelers who want a short airport transfer.

Bavaro · near Bavaro Beach
Secrets Royal Beach is an adults-only resort directly on Bavaro Beach, about 20 to 25 minutes from the airport. It has five a la carte restaurants, a Preferred Club section with a two-story infinity pool and a lazy river, and nightly shows. Guests have full access to the neighboring Dreams Royal Beach with no separate check-in. A good fit for adults who want a social beach resort, or travelers whose family stays next door.

Secrets Tides is an adults-only, all-suite resort on the beach in Uvero Alto, which opened in early 2024. It has three pools, two hot tubs, a buffet and a grill, and a la carte restaurants such as Tierra and Meraki. Secrets Spa combines hydrotherapy with relaxing treatments. Worth a look if you want a newer adults-only resort away from the busier Bavaro strip.

The St. Regis opened in 2025 in Cap Cana with 200 rooms, including 36 suites with direct plunge pool access, all with ocean views. There are nine dining venues, including the flagship Nina, a spa with 14 treatment rooms and four pools. The resort offers butler service, and the Punta Espada golf course is nearby. A good fit for couples and families who want a high-service beach resort.

Zoetry Agua is a suite-only resort in Uvero Alto, on a private stretch of beach on the easternmost coast.
