CITY GUIDE · TIANJIN
Five international hotels in Tianjin, from the Hai River's historic concession districts to the newer Nankai and Heping business areas.
Most of these hotels are in Heping District, the central area along the Hai River. The Ritz-Carlton sits in the former British concession by the Haihe River, and the St. Regis is on the river's south bank. Four Seasons is in the central business district with direct access to the main shopping street. Banyan Tree is across the river in Hebei District, in the former Austrian concession next to the Italian district. Conrad is the outlier, in Nankai District near the zoo and Nankai University, with a metro station about half a kilometre away.
