Hong Kong's luxury hotels sit on both sides of Victoria Harbour. On the Hong Kong Island side they cluster in Central and Admiralty, with malls and the MTR right downstairs, so you don't have to go far to do business, shop or eat; on the Kowloon side they line the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, with the advantage of facing the harbour head-on and seeing the whole skyline across the water. The nine hotels in this article were picked one by one from the Hong Kong hotels currently on sale under our perks programs, with rates running from US$300 to over US$1,000 a night, so you can match them to your budget.

Rosewood is the only three-MICHELIN-Key hotel in all of Hong Kong. Four more of the nine here make the list: The Peninsula and The Upper House have two Keys each, and Four Seasons and St. Regis one Key each.

First, how we check prices: all prices below are advisor-channel rates for a check-in on November 1, 2026, a 3-night stay, 2 adults, taxes included, shown as the average nightly rate (the 3-night total divided by 3), in US dollars. This is the rate we can get when booking as an accredited travel advisor. It comes with a set of perks that cannot be booked through public channels, such as breakfast, room credits and upgrades subject to availability. Each hotel's section describes its specific perks, and before booking we confirm them with the hotel one by one and then put them on the guest's confirmation.

Hotels are sorted by average nightly rate from low to high, so you can get a sense of the range as you read on.

Our full list of perks hotels (more than 3,000) is here: Global Luxury Hotel Perks List. Click through and it automatically filters to the Hong Kong hotels, and we can check prices for any of them for you just as in this article.

Here are the highlights first, enough if you are short on time:

  • Best value – Conrad: about US$301 per night, the lowest of the nine, with Pacific Place and Admiralty station right downstairs
  • Best perks value – St. Regis: about US$588 a night, non-refundable, with breakfast for two and a hotel credit usually included
  • Best location – Four Seasons: connected to the IFC Mall, with Airport Express Hong Kong Station downstairs
  • Most worth visiting – The Peninsula: a 1928 facade, a green Rolls-Royce fleet and the lobby afternoon tea
  • Most unique experience – The Upper House: Andre Fu's breakout work, with no front desk and even the smallest room at 68 square meters
  • Top-end pick – Regent: directly facing the harbour, with three ocean-view pools plus Nobu

Conrad Hong Kong

Outdoor pool and Central skyline at Conrad Hong Kong

Conrad opened in 1990 in the upper part of the Pacific Place tower in Admiralty, with the lobby on the 40th floor and rooms running from the 40th to the 61st floor, 512 in all. Its location is the most convenient in this article: Pacific Place is downstairs, and walking through the mall brings you to Admiralty station, where three MTR lines meet, one stop to Central and two to Tsim Sha Tsui.

For dining, Nicholini’s serves Italian cuisine and has been open for over thirty years, Golden Leaf serves Cantonese, Brass Spoon on the first floor serves Vietnamese noodles, and the lobby lounge's afternoon tea is a long-established one in the Admiralty area. On the 11th floor are an outdoor pool, a hot tub and a gym, with the pool side facing the buildings of Central.

With the lowest price of the nine and the MTR and mall at your feet, this is the easiest decision in the whole article.

Reference price: for the vast majority of the year (apart from certain peak dates), about US$406–518 per night before tax. For a check-in on November 1, 2026, the advisor-channel average is US$301 per night including taxes, US$903 for 3 nights, refundable. Booking through the advisor channel usually also includes breakfast for two, a hotel credit, a welcome amenity, and early check-in, late checkout and an upgrade subject to availability. W Hong Kong

W Hong Kong rooftop pool and golden butterfly mural

W Hong Kong opened in 2008 in the lower part of the International Commerce Centre at Kowloon Station, with 393 rooms. Elements mall is downstairs, and Airport Express Kowloon Station is in the same building, so you can check in your luggage downtown before heading into the city, which is very handy for early-morning or late-night flights.

The WET outdoor pool on the 76th floor is the most recognizable spot here, and the golden butterfly mosaic wall beside the pool is almost W Hong Kong's signature image; on a clear day you can see all the way to Hong Kong Island. For dining, Sing Yin serves Cantonese cuisine, Kitchen is the all-day restaurant, and Woobar is the bar on the 6th floor.

If you want to stay high up, with the Airport Express downstairs and a shorter transfer, this is the most convenient hotel on the Kowloon side.

Reference price: for the vast majority of the year (apart from certain peak dates), about US$325–378 per night before tax. For a check-in on November 1, 2026, the advisor-channel average is US$367 per night including taxes, US$1,102 for 3 nights, on non-refundable terms. Booking through the advisor channel usually also includes breakfast for two, a hotel credit, a welcome amenity and an upgrade subject to availability. Check this hotel's latest price →

The St. Regis Hong Kong

Outdoor pool at The St. Regis Hong Kong

The St. Regis opened in 2019 near the Convention Centre in Wan Chai, with only 129 rooms, which makes for especially attentive service. The interiors are by the Hong Kong designer Andre Fu, and the public areas display the hotel's own collection of contemporary Chinese art.

For dining, Rùn serves Cantonese cuisine and L’Envol serves French, and both have been in the Michelin guide; the St. Regis Bar serves a local take on the Bloody Mary, a signature ritual of the brand in every city. There are also an outdoor pool, a spa and 24-hour butler service, and the butlers can help with pressing clothes, making dinner reservations and arranging itineraries.

If you want a small property with attentive service and don't want to stay in the most touristy stretch, take a look at this one.

Reference price: for the vast majority of the year (apart from certain peak dates), about US$520–656 per night before tax. For a check-in on November 1, 2026, the advisor-channel average is US$588 per night including taxes, US$1,764 for 3 nights, on non-refundable terms. Booking through the advisor channel usually also includes breakfast for two, a hotel credit, a welcome amenity and an upgrade subject to availability. Check this hotel's latest price →

The Peninsula Hong Kong

The classic facade of The Peninsula Hong Kong

The Peninsula opened in 1928, the oldest surviving luxury hotel in Hong Kong and the birthplace of the Peninsula brand. The symmetrical facade of the main building has stood on Salisbury Road in Tsim Sha Tsui for nearly a hundred years, and a 30-story tower was added behind it after 1994, for about 300 rooms in all.

The hotel has a fleet of green Rolls-Royces and a helicopter pad on the roof. For dining, Gaddi’s has served French cuisine since 1953, Spring Moon serves Cantonese and has long been in the Michelin guide, and Felix on the top floor, designed by Philippe Starck, has floor-to-ceiling windows facing the harbour. The afternoon tea in the lobby does not take reservations, and queuing is part of it. There are also an indoor pool with Roman columns and a spa.

If you want to stay inside that stretch of Hong Kong history, this should be the only choice.

Reference price: for the vast majority of the year (apart from certain peak dates), about US$596–800 per night before tax. For a check-in on November 1, 2026, the advisor-channel average is US$595 per night including taxes, US$1,786 for 3 nights, refundable. Booking through the advisor channel usually also includes breakfast for two, a hotel credit, a welcome amenity and an upgrade subject to availability. Check this hotel's latest price →

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong

Indoor pool at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental opened in 2005 above The Landmark in Central, with 111 rooms and suites. Its most practical point is that the rooms are big: the entry-level room is about 48 square meters, the L600 suite we checked for this article is 56 square meters, with a round bathtub in the middle of the bathroom, a size rarely seen in Central, where every inch of land is expensive.

For dining, Amber serves French cuisine, holds three Michelin stars and has long been on the Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list; Somm is a wine and sake bar. The Oriental Spa is nearly two thousand square meters, with an indoor pool, steam room and 24-hour gym. Walking from the hotel into The Landmark, Central station and the Mid-Levels escalator are both within a few minutes' walk.

If you want to stay in the heart of Central without feeling cramped in the room, this is the best fit.

Reference price: advisor channel average US$730 per night, US$2,189 for 3 nights, refundable, for the 56-square-meter L600 suite. Booking through the advisor channel usually also includes breakfast for two, a hotel credit, a welcome amenity and an upgrade subject to availability. Check this hotel's latest price →

Rosewood Hong Kong

Rosewood Hong Kong and the Victoria Harbour skyline

Rosewood opened in 2019 on the waterfront of Victoria Dockside in Tsim Sha Tsui. The 65-story tower was designed by KPF, the interiors are by Tony Chi, and it has 413 rooms and suites, most facing the harbour head-on. It is a project of the current generation of the Cheng family behind New World Development, and the public areas display the family's own collection.

For dining, Chaat serves Indian cuisine and Legacy House serves Cantonese, and both have won a Michelin star; Henry is the steakhouse, and DarkSide is a cigar and cocktail bar that has long been on the Asia's 50 Best Bars list. There are also the Asaya spa, an outdoor pool, and a waterfront promenade that leads straight to the Avenue of Stars and the Museum of Art.

If you want a room facing the harbour head-on in a newer building, this is the safest pick on the Tsim Sha Tsui side.

Reference price: for the vast majority of the year (apart from certain peak dates), about US$823–1,089 per night before tax. For a check-in on November 1, 2026, the advisor-channel average is US$874 per night including taxes, US$2,621 for 3 nights, refundable, for the 53-square-meter harbour view room. Booking through the advisor channel usually also includes breakfast for two, a hotel credit, a welcome amenity, and an upgrade and late checkout subject to availability. The Upper House

The Upper House top-floor lounge with fireplace and mountain view

The Upper House opened in 2009, also in the Pacific Place tower, with 117 rooms, and is Andre Fu's breakout work. There is no front desk: guests are taken straight upstairs by staff and check in in the room. Even the smallest Studio room is 68 square meters, which in Hong Kong is the size of other hotels' suites.

The 49th floor is the hotel's public floor, where Salisterra serves Mediterranean cuisine, and the lounge next to it has a full wall of floor-to-ceiling windows and a fireplace, looking out to Victoria Peak and the buildings of Hong Kong Island. The hotel has no pool; instead there is a lawn and occasional fitness classes, and the drinks and snacks in the in-room minibar are not charged separately.

If you don't want a hotel with a busy lobby and want the Central–Admiralty location, this one is one of a kind.

Reference price: for the vast majority of the year (apart from certain peak dates), about US$549–693 per night before tax. For a check-in on November 1, 2026, the advisor-channel average is US$887 per night including taxes, US$2,661 for 3 nights, refundable. Booking through the advisor channel usually also includes breakfast for two, a hotel credit, a welcome amenity and an upgrade subject to availability. Check this hotel's latest price →

Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong

Aerial view of the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong tower and Victoria Harbour

Four Seasons opened in 2005 beside the International Finance Centre in Central, with 399 rooms and suites. Location is its first draw: it is connected to the IFC Mall, and Airport Express Hong Kong Station and Central station are both downstairs, so the trip and the formalities between the hotel and the airport can be kept to a minimum.

Dining is its second draw, and a strong one. Lung King Heen was the first Chinese restaurant in the world to win three Michelin stars, Caprice serves French cuisine and is also a regular three-star holder, and the Argo bar has long been on the Asia's 50 Best Bars list. There are also two outdoor pools, one of them an infinity pool facing Victoria Harbour and the Kowloon skyline.

If on one trip you want both easy access for business and a full run of Michelin restaurants, this should be the best fit.

Reference price: for the vast majority of the year (apart from certain peak dates), about US$628–742 per night before tax. For a check-in on November 1, 2026, the advisor-channel average is US$919 per night including taxes, US$2,758 for 3 nights, refundable, the same as the public channel for the same period. With the price equal, booking through the advisor channel usually gets you extra breakfast for two, a hotel credit, a welcome amenity and an upgrade subject to availability. Regent Hong Kong

Outdoor pool at Regent Hong Kong

Regent opened in 1980 as the building on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront that juts out into the harbour. It carried the InterContinental flag for many years, and in 2023 it changed back to Regent and reopened, with interiors redone by the designer Chi Wing Lo, and 497 rooms and suites.

The floor-to-ceiling glass in the lobby faces the harbour head-on and is the most famous hotel view in Hong Kong. For dining, Yan Toh Heen serves Cantonese cuisine and has long been in the Michelin guide, Nobu serves Japanese-Peruvian cuisine, and the steakhouse and the all-day restaurant Harbourside are also on the harbour side. There are also three outdoor pools facing the harbour and a spa, and the pool level has a view almost as good as the rooms.

If you want to face the harbour head-on and also want a long-established hotel, this is the most impressive of the nine.

Reference price: for the vast majority of the year (apart from certain peak dates), about US$548–593 per night before tax. For a check-in on November 1, 2026, the advisor-channel average is US$1,070 per night including taxes, US$3,211 for 3 nights, refundable. Booking through the advisor channel usually includes breakfast for two and a US$100 dining credit per stay, a welcome amenity, and an upgrade and late checkout subject to availability. Conclusion

From US$301 per night at Conrad to US$1,070 per night at Regent, the price gap among these nine Hong Kong hotels is more than threefold, but each stands up at its own price point. For easy transport, look at Conrad, Four Seasons and W; for quiet and space, The Upper House and The Landmark Mandarin Oriental; for the harbour head-on, Rosewood and Regent; to stay inside history, The Peninsula; and for attentive service in a small property, St. Regis.

Two are worth singling out: St. Regis for its attentive service in a small property, and Conrad for the lowest rate of the nine on a refundable booking.

These prices are the perks-channel rates we can get as an accredited travel advisor, and they come with extras such as breakfast, in-room credits and welcome amenities that public channels cannot offer.

If any of these nine appeals to you, book with us at the cash rate and you get these perks, with no membership needed and no thresholds to reach. What you save is real money.
