Jakarta is the most populous metropolis in Southeast Asia, and its hotels follow the city's main axes: the Thamrin Avenue area is the old downtown around the Welcome Monument roundabout, with malls, MRT and embassies underfoot; to the south, the Kuningan and Gatot Subroto golden triangle business district hides the youngest international luxury brands in a new generation of glass towers; and in Menteng, the tree-lined colonial-era streets are quiet enough to feel like another city.

On MICHELIN Keys, Four Seasons holds two Keys, Raffles and St. Regis hold one each, and the other three are not listed for now.

First, how we check prices: all prices below are advisor-channel rates, tax included, for a check-in on November 1, 2026, a 3-night stay and 2 adults, shown as the nightly average (the 3-night total divided by 3), in US dollars. This is the rate we can get when booking for clients as an accredited travel advisor. It also comes with perks you can't get through public channels, such as breakfast, a hotel credit and room upgrades subject to availability. Each hotel's section explains its specific perks, and before booking we confirm every one with the hotel and put it on your confirmation.

The hotels are ordered by nightly average price from low to high, so you can keep your bearings as you read down.

Our full list of hotels with perks (over 3,000 properties) is here: Global Luxury Hotel Perks List. It opens already filtered to Jakarta hotels, and we can check rates on any of them for you, just like in this article.

Here are the highlights up front, if you're short on time:

  • Best value – Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta: about US$133 per night, the perk-channel rate is in line with the public rate, and it sits right by the Welcome Monument roundabout
  • Best perks – Raffles Jakarta: a refundable rate that comes with breakfast for two and a hotel credit
  • Best location – Pan Pacific Jakarta: occupies floors 71 to 90 of the Thamrin Nine tower, with the whole city at your feet
  • Most worth a visit – The St. Regis Jakarta: three international design teams working together, eight dining concepts and the city's newest social hub
  • Most space – Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta: 125 all-suite rooms, where even the smallest room type has a suite layout

Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta

Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta

Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta stands beside the Welcome Monument roundabout on Thamrin Avenue, Jakarta's most recognizable landmark, and a few steps out the door are an MRT station and the two big malls Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia. The hotel opened in 1978 and reopened in October 2009 after a 20-month complete renovation, with interiors by Singapore's LTW. It has 272 rooms, 6 of them suites.

For dining, the hotel has six venues. Li Feng serves refined Cantonese, Lyon serves French, and the ground-floor afternoon tea has a good name in local social circles.

If you want to be as close to the city center as possible and save your budget for other things, this is Jakarta's best-value entry-level choice.

Reference rate: for most of the year (except certain peak dates), about US$114–137 per night before tax. For a November 1, 2026 check-in, the tax-included advisor-channel nightly average is US$133, US$399 for 3 nights, a non-refundable prepaid rate, the same price as the public channel. Booking through the Mandarin Oriental Fan Club channel usually includes breakfast for two, a US$100 dining or spa credit and a welcome amenity, plus an upgrade and late check-out subject to availability. Raffles Jakarta

Raffles Jakarta

Raffles Jakarta is in the Ciputra World 1 complex in the Kuningan golden triangle. It opened in March 2015 and has 173 rooms and suites. The whole hotel is a love letter to Hendra Gunawan, one of Indonesia's most celebrated painters, with artworks inspired by his paintings lining the lobby and corridors, and the hotel connects directly to the Ciputra Artpreneur gallery and theater, so you can see an exhibition or a show without leaving the building. Arts Café is the brand's signature all-day restaurant, and the Writers Bar carries on the old Raffles family tradition.

If you like an artistic atmosphere and want shopping and dining handled in one place, take a look at this one.

Reference rate: for most of the year (except certain peak dates), about US$193–208 per night before tax. For a November 1, 2026 check-in, the tax-included advisor-channel nightly average is US$148, US$443 for 3 nights, refundable. Booking through the Accor advisor-perks channel usually includes daily breakfast for two, a VIP welcome, a US$100 hotel credit, and early check-in, late check-out and a room upgrade on arrival subject to availability. Pan Pacific Jakarta

Pan Pacific Jakarta

Pan Pacific Jakarta opened on June 1, 2024 and is the newest on this list. It occupies floors 71 to 90 of the Luminary Tower in the Thamrin Nine complex and has 158 rooms and suites. It is still on the Thamrin axis, with the MRT and malls downstairs, but the view is at a completely different height – through the floor-to-ceiling windows the whole Jakarta skyline is laid out in front of you, and on a clear day you can even make out the outline of distant volcanoes. Another benefit of a new hotel is that everything is new: the pool, gym and executive lounge show no wear.

If you want a new building and high-floor views, this is worth a look right now.

Reference rate: the advisor-channel nightly average is US$216, US$647 for 3 nights, refundable. The cheaper public-channel prices for the same period are all non-refundable prepaid rates, so the advisor rate is the refundable option with perks for this date. Booking through the Pan Pacific Reserve channel usually includes a one-category room upgrade on arrival, daily breakfast for two, a welcome amenity, a hotel experience credit from US$100, plus early check-in and a guaranteed 4 p.m. check-out. The St. Regis Jakarta

The St. Regis Jakarta

The St. Regis Jakarta opened in November 2022 in the Rasuna Said area, where embassies and government offices cluster. It has 282 rooms, including 28 suites ranging from 75 to 187 square meters, and every one has a private balcony – quite rare among Jakarta's high-rise hotels. The design brought in three teams at once: Alexandra Champalimaud set the overall tone, Bill Bensley handled the tropical drama of some public spaces, and local artist Eddy Susanto wove Indonesian cultural symbols into the details. Eight dining concepts made it a local social hub soon after opening, and the St. Regis butler service and evening champagne ritual are both kept intact.

If you like new-style luxury and value the ritual of service, it could be worth staying a night just for this.

Reference rate: for most of the year (except certain peak dates), about US$81–214 per night before tax. For a November 1, 2026 check-in, the tax-included advisor-channel nightly average is US$217, US$651 for 3 nights, a non-refundable prepaid rate, the same as the public channel's regular rate. Booking through the Marriott STARS channel usually includes daily breakfast for two, a US$100 hotel credit, an exclusive welcome amenity, plus an upgrade and flexible check-in and check-out subject to availability. Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta

Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta

Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta reopened on June 20, 2016 in Capital Place on Gatot Subroto Avenue. The building is by the late architect César Pelli, and looking up at its glass curtain wall from below tells you how substantial the tower is. The hotel has 125 rooms, all built to suite standard, which means even the smallest room type has a separate living area, and that much space is rare in Jakarta's business district. Alto Restaurant and Bar combines Italian cuisine with a bar, the terrace has a great view, and Four Seasons' usual service standard is held quite steady here.

If you are traveling with family or staying several days in Jakarta on business, a roomier place will be much more comfortable.

Reference rate: for most of the year (except certain peak dates), about US$195–221 per night before tax. For a November 1, 2026 check-in, the tax-included advisor-channel nightly average is US$244, US$732 for 3 nights, a non-refundable prepaid rate, the same price as the public channel. Booking through the Four Seasons Preferred Partner channel usually includes daily breakfast for two, a US$100 hotel credit (US$200 for suites), a one-category room upgrade, plus early check-in and late check-out subject to availability. Park Hyatt Jakarta

Park Hyatt Jakarta opened on July 8, 2022 and is Hyatt's first Park Hyatt in Indonesia. It is in Menteng – the old embassy district planned in the Dutch colonial era, with tree-lined avenues, standalone villas and a quiet that doesn't feel like Jakarta. The hotel occupies the top 17 floors of the 37-story Park Tower and has 220 rooms, including 36 suites, with the room scale and materials following Park Hyatt's usual restrained approach. Kita, on the top two floors, is a Japanese restaurant and bar looking down on the whole city; downstairs, The Dining Room serves Indonesian and Italian food, and the Conservatory is a glasshouse for afternoon tea. For guests who want to avoid the bustle of the business district without giving up city views, this is the most distinctive location of the six.

Reference rate: for most of the year (except certain peak dates), about US$192–204 per night before tax. For a November 1, 2026 check-in, the tax-included advisor-channel nightly average is US$267, US$800 for 3 nights, refundable. Booking through the Hyatt Privé channel usually includes daily breakfast for two, a hotel credit, a welcome amenity and a welcome note from hotel management, plus priority upgrade and early check-in and late check-out as available. Conclusion

From Mandarin Oriental at US$133 per night to Park Hyatt at US$267 per night, the price band of these six Jakarta hotels is friendlier than most first-tier Asian cities. A little over two hundred dollars gets you into the newest and best rooms in the city, which would be unthinkable in Tokyo or Singapore. By location they sit along the Thamrin axis, in the Kuningan golden triangle, in the Rasuna Said embassy area and in old Menteng, so you can choose by your own budget and itinerary.

These prices are the perk-channel rates we can get as an accredited travel advisor. They add things you can't get through public channels, such as breakfast, a hotel credit and welcome amenities. We confirm the fine print of each room's perks with the hotel before finalizing a booking, so that every item written on your confirmation is honored.

If any of these six catch your eye, book with us at the cash rate and you get these perks, with no membership and no spending threshold required. The perks are worth real money.
